Q. What do you need to mass email our greeting?
A: A list of names and email addresses in CSV format. Don’t worry if you don’t have that handy – the list can easily be exported from most databases as well as from OUTLOOK or OUTLOOK EXPRESS address books. The recipient's name will appear in the movie along with your generic greeting.
Q: Can we choose the message that appears in the movie?
A: Yes. You can even write it yourself. Or you can choose from a list of our suggestions.
Q: What about privacy? What do you do with our data?
A: Absolutely nothing other than send out your greetings. Your data base is destroyed as soon as it has been used. Strict privacy is guaranteed for you and your clients.
Q: What are the benefits of membership of MovieTexts.com? A: Our service doesn't stop with mass mailing. You and your staff can also send your greeting individually to anyone not on your mailing list. You can even individually change the message that appears in the movie. It's very easy. When you log in to your MovieTexts account you are automatically taken to your own member's page. From there, you can individually personalise and send your movie. See an example form here. You can also track the greetings you’ve already sent, change your preferences and edit your address book.
Q: Can any staff member send individual movies from MovieTexts.com?
A: Yes, as long as they have been registered as a member.
Q: Why won't our greetings be spam filtered?
A: The recipient receives the email from your address. So if your client can receive an email from you then they can receive a 121movie. The email has a clickable graphic and link that takes the recipient to your viewing page. There are a few systems that filter that. But we have that covered: if the 121movie hasn’t been viewed after a day, we automatically send them a plain text invitation to view your greeting. If you wish, we can supply you with the graphics and personalised links, so that you can send the email via your prefered email system.
Q: How do we know if/when the recipient has received our 121movie?
A: In one of two ways: 1) you can choose to be notified by email as soon as it’s been viewed. Or 2) you can check your viewing history on your membership page. This would be the preferred method if you’re mass mailing.
Q: Why should we pay when there are free ecards?
A:The purpose of corporate greetings is to spread goodwill. Free ecards usually do exactly the opposite because they look, well ... cheap. And besides, as far as we’re aware, there’s no such thing as a free ecard. They either come with ads, or worse, your data and your recipient’s data may be used for other purposes.
Q:How do we pay?

Q: How will our logo look in the finished movie?
A: Your logo will be taken directly from the artwork you supply. No changes will be made to the colours or proportions or the design. The logo will occupy exactly the same space as the dummy logo does in the movie you choose. If the proportions of your logo require it, a little space will be placed around your artwork. This work is done individually by professional designers.
Q: What artwork do you need from us?
A: Any format is acceptable. If it’s a jpg or a gif, then the less compression the better. Size should be at least 360 pixels on the smallest side.
Q: Can you do a completely original 121movie just for our company?
